Established in the fall of 1989 through the leadership of Scott and Sherry Harris, Sky High continues to offer the best in volleyball instruction with a positive social experience for junior athletes in the Northwest/Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin areas. Sky High's coaching staff is unified in teaching the skills and tactics, including the more advanced techniques of the game.
With the philosophy of training athletes in an intense controlled environment, Sky High has become one of the premier volleyball clubs in the nation. Every year, Sky High teams compete in USA, JVA and AAU events including the Central Zone series, which provide great inter-regional competition. During the season many teams will compete in the Windy City Power League. The WCPL and WCT will provide some of the best competition nation wide.
Sky High's goal is to promote athletic/academic excellence through a strong foundation of health and exercise provided by excellent training and competition. Sky High Volleyball continues to secure athletic scholarships to top collegiate institutions to more than 97% of our senior athletes. To date approximately $45 million in scholarship money has been awarded to Sky High Athletes.
The management of Sky High would like to thank all of the families for supporting their athletes, the Advisory Board and the club. This program would not be possible without your dedication and hard work. Sky High continues to grow into one large family where athletes and parents make new friendships that last a lifetime.
